The basics
Is Rapture Records legit?
Yes. Rapture is an independent Spotify playlist curator service run by Ben Ferrier from Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, operating since 2026. Payments run through Stripe, every track is heard in full by Ben personally, and you get a decision with written feedback within 72 hours. Placement is never guaranteed — that's disclosed before you pay, on purpose.
How much does it cost to submit a track?
€4 per track for Chill Afro House 2026. The new Melodic Afro House 2026 room is €1 per track while it grows (intro pricing). One-time Stripe payment — no account, no subscription, no credit packs.
Does paying guarantee a placement?
No — and be suspicious of anyone who says otherwise. The fee pays for a full listen and written feedback. Roughly 18% of submissions are accepted. Guaranteed-placement services violate Spotify's terms and can get your track removed.
What genres are accepted?
Afro house, melodic afro house, and deep house. Anything else will very likely be declined — hear the
playlists first and judge the fit yourself before spending the fee.
The process
How long does the review take?
Within 72 hours. If your track isn't heard inside that window, you're refunded.
What happens if my track is declined?
You get an email explaining why — one honest, specific note about what didn't fit. No rotation tiers, no penalty for coming back with the next track.
How long do accepted tracks stay on?
Two to four weeks depending on fit, confirmed in your acceptance email. You can follow your placement on a live status page the whole time.
What track links are accepted?
Spotify, SoundCloud, Google Drive, and Dropbox. WeTransfer and SwissTransfer are blocked for security reasons. Unreleased tracks are welcome — accepted ones get scheduled for the playlist on release day.
Playlists & pricing
Which playlists does Rapture run?
Chill Afro House 2026 — 15,500+ saves as of July 2026, ~18% accept rate. Melodic Afro House 2026 — the new after-dark room, growing fast, €1 intro pitch fee. A Deep House room is planned. All counts on the site update automatically from Spotify.
Can labels submit in bulk?
Yes —
bulk packs of 10 tracks for €32 (€3.20 per track, 20% off), each still heard in full within 72 hours. Playlist trades and ongoing A&R relationships are available too.
Is there a free way to get reviewed?
Every month a lottery draws free submission codes from the newsletter list, weighted toward returning artists. And the
free tools — mix analyzer, vocal remover, AI detector, pitch generator, royalty calculator — cost nothing, ever.
How is Rapture different from SubmitHub or Groover?
Those are marketplaces: your track routes to dozens or hundreds of curators of wildly varying quality. Rapture is one curator, one taste — the same person who runs the playlists hears every track in full. See the full
comparison.
