Legal
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: April 25, 2026
By using rapture-records.com ("the Service"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Rapture Records is a paid Spotify playlist submission service. For a one-time fee of €4 per track (free of charge for the Melodic Afro House 2026 playlist during its introductory launch period), you submit a song for consideration by our curator. Within 72 hours, a human listens to your track in full and provides a decision (accept or decline) with feedback.
2. Submission Fee
- The submission fee is €4.00 per track for Chill Afro House 2026, or free of charge (introductory launch period) for Melodic Afro House 2026, charged at the time of submission via Stripe
- The fee pays for a guaranteed human listen and decision — not a guaranteed placement
- Submission fees are non-refundable once the submission has been received and processed. You are paying for the curator's time and attention, regardless of the outcome
- If a technical error prevents your submission from being reviewed, we will issue a full refund
3. What You Get
Every submission receives:
- A full listen by a human curator (not an algorithm, not 15 seconds)
- A decision within 72 hours — accept or decline
- If accepted: your track is added to the relevant Spotify playlist for 2–4 weeks depending on fit
- If declined: you receive honest, specific feedback about why the track wasn't the right fit
- An email notification with the decision and any feedback
4. No Guarantees
Submitting a track does not guarantee playlist placement. The curator's decision is final and based on subjective musical taste, playlist fit, and quality. Roughly 18% of submissions are accepted — this varies by playlist and period.
Playlist placement does not guarantee any specific number of streams, saves, or followers. We make no performance guarantees.
5. Your Content
- You must have the right to submit the track (you are the artist, producer, label, or authorized representative)
- Submitting a track grants us permission to add it to our Spotify playlists if accepted
- We do not claim ownership of your music. Your rights remain yours
- We may use your artist name and track title in our playlist and related communications
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit tracks you do not have rights to
- Submit the same track repeatedly without significant changes
- Use automated tools or bots to submit tracks
- Attempt to circumvent or manipulate the review process
- Use abusive, threatening, or harassing language in submissions
7. Playlist Duration
Accepted tracks are placed on playlists for a duration of 2–4 weeks as determined by the curator. After the placement period, tracks may be removed to make room for new submissions. Extended placement is at the curator's discretion and is not guaranteed.
8. Liability
The Service is provided "as is." We are not liable for:
- Changes to Spotify's platform, API, or policies that affect playlist functionality
- Temporary unavailability of the website or submission system
- Any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service
Our total liability is limited to the submission fee paid.
9. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Slovenia. Before pursuing legal action, we encourage you to contact us directly — most issues can be resolved with a conversation.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
